Pentagram Chile was formed in 1985 by Anton Reisseneger (lead guitar/vocals) and Juan Pablo Uribe (bass). Inspired by bands like Venom, Slayer and Possessed, they started their own brand of extreme metal in a time and place where the genre was in its very first steps. The band has been cited as an influence by acts such as Dismember, At The Gates, Darkthrone, Samael and many more. To support the most recent album, they have toured Chile and Europe in recent years, playing also at Wacken Open Air 2025.
